Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathers, M.D.

Priv.-Doz. Dr. Mathers is a specialist in urology and andrology with many years of experience in patient care, university teaching, and scientific research. Following his medical training at internationally renowned universities in the USA and Germany, and clinical placements at, among others, Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University, he completed his doctorate and habilitation with a focus on andrology and male sexual disorders.
In his clinical work, he combines sound specialist knowledge with a holistic approach that takes into account both physical and psychosocial health. His areas of focus lie in men’s health, oncology, and pharmacological tumour therapy. In addition, he is committed to the continuing education of young physicians and contributes his expertise to various specialist committees and scientific advisory boards.
Through membership in numerous national and international specialist societies, as well as active participation in working groups of the German Society of Urology, Dr. Mathers continually contributes to the further development of the field.
